Funeral service for Cindy L. Kinser, 55, will be Saturday, June 7, 2014, at 11:30 am at Radney-Smith Chapel with the Rev. Bob Owens officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Ms. Kinser died on Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at Coosa Valley Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Kinser; grandparents, Raymond and Nell Crowe and Bill and Glenda Kinser. She graduated from Sylacauga High School and had a master's degree from Montevallo University. She retired from the Department of Human Resources and was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church. She is survived by her mother, Bobbie Kinser of Sylacauga; sister, April Burkett and husband, Paul, of Chattanooga; nephews, Andrew Burkett of Atlanta and Christopher Burkett of Athens, GA; aunts, Maryland Ousley and Faye Franklin. She loved Elwanda Black, Ashleigh Black, Miracle Black, Jan Thomas, Jamara Thomas, other loved ones and relatives, and all the children she served through DHR. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Sylacauga Animal Rescue Foundation, 41 Shelter Lane, Sylacauga, AL 35151. Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com.
