Mrs. Kidd peacefully transitioned home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 15, 2013 in Baltimore, Maryland. Mrs. Kidd confessed hope in Christ as a young girl and united with the St. Paul C.M.E. Church in Bessemer, Alabama, where she remained a faithful member for over 60 years. She participated in a variety of church endeavors, including choir member, Steward board, Trustee board, and Sunday School. She officially united with the St. Thomas United Methodist Church in Sylacauga and was an active member of the Teresa Hoover Mission Circle.
