Funeral services for Lamar Taylor Swain, 92, will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Greater Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. A. G. McKinney will officiate. Burial will be in the Pine Hill Memorial Park. Mr. Swain will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. Survivors are his caregiver, Annie Heath; daughters, Linda (Jesse) Swain, Margarette Swain, Annie Swain, Evelyn Swain, Virginia Ousley, Sally (William) Lawler, Carolyn Miller, Mikita Heath and Kimbery (Ron) Heath; sons, Edward Swain, Mitchell Swain, Walter (Angela) Heath, Jr. and Michael Heath; sister, Marion Swain; brothers, Algie (Bobbie) Swain, Jr. and Lockinvar (Nina) Swain; twenty-seven grandchildren, thirty-seven great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
