Mr. Jerry Peters, 65, passed away on Saturday morning, January 14, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Cathy Peters, of Trussville; two daughters, Christy (Rob) Stewart, of Trussville and Julie Burke, of Mobile; five grandchildren, Chase Stewart, Colt Stewart, and Cate Stewart, of Trussville, Ashlyn Burke and Connor Burke III, of Mobile; mother, Ann Peters, of Talladega; two brothers, Rickey (Cindy) Peters, of Talladega and Joey (Adele) Peters, of Talladega; nephews, Matt (Rebecca) Peters and Jason (Jenifer) Peters, of Talladega, and many other friends and family. The celebration of the life of Jerry was Monday, January 16, 2017 at First Baptist Church, of Trussville, 128 N. Chalkville Rd. Trussville, AL 35173. In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that you make donations to First Baptist Church of Trussville Children's Ministry in Memory of Jerry Peters, PO Box 27, Trussville, AL 35173.

Rest In Peace Jerry , I am so sorry to just hear this. Jerry was a good man, good to work for , and good for Ironworkers Local 92. I haven't seen Jerry in several years but I was very fond of Jerry. RIP my friend. Peace be with you
