William J. ‘Bill’ Murray Jr., formerly of West Chester William J. “Bill” Murray Jr., aka “T-Bone”, 56 passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at his home in Conway, S.C. Bill was born in Darby, Pa., son of the late William Joseph Murray, Sr. and Greta Elizabeth Schneider Murray. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Colleen Murray. Bill was formerly employed by C.T.D.I in West Chester, Pa. He was a graduate of Bishop Shanahan High School in West Chester, Pa. where he played basketball and was given the nickname “T-Bone”. Bill moved to Conway in 2008, where he enjoyed exploring family history and trips to the beach. But the most important thing to him was spending time with all of his family and friends. He was the beloved husband for 33 years of Beverly (Elliott) Murray of Conway, S.C.; loving father of Elizabeth Anne Murray and son Kyle William Murray, both of Parkesburg, Pa.; and dear brother of John Murray of Apex, N.C., Christine McCloskey of Upper Darby, Pa., Lisa Beck, of Thorndale, Pa., and Patricia Scanlan of Salem, N.H. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday Eve, August 16 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000 and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Monday at SS. Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Ct., West Chester, PA 19382, followed by his Funeral Mass 11 a.m. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, Pa.
