Schoenherr, Joyce Elaine (Magee)* - Elverson  
Joyce E. (Magee) Schoenherr of Elverson Joyce Elaine (Magee) Schoenherr, age 78, died at Pocopson Home on Sunday, April 5, 2015 after a long illness. Joyce was born October 13, 1936 in Philadelphia to the late Joseph A. and Helene M. (Bowman) Magee. For many years she was employed by Wawa, Inc. Joyce is survived by her sister-in-law and her husband, Bonnie and Bill Crowley, her daughter and her husband, Linda and Tom Colquhoun, her son and his wife, John and Lisa, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. In lieu of a Memorial Service the family asks that you hug a loved one, be thankful for your family and friends, and love life to its fullest, as Joyce had lived her life.

Slater, Jean Marie Rusnak* - Avondale  
Jean Marie Rusnak Slater of Avondale Jean Marie Rusnak Slater, 57 of Avondale, Pa. died suddenly Wednesday April 15, 2015 at the Jennersville Regional Hospital, West Grove, Pa. She was the wife of J. Todd Slater, with whom she shared 30 years of marriage. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of Raymond and Mary (Greene) Rusnak. Jean loved working with kids. For over 17 years she was an instructional aide at Greenwood Elementary School. She loved birds, gardening, painting, antiquing, reading and simply being a part of nature. She loved the game of Lacrosse and supporting her husband as “Mrs. Coach.” She was a fan of “The” Ohio State Buckeyes and loved the Cleveland Browns. She loved her “small town” of Kennett Square and it’s diversity and the friends she had made here. But most of all she loved her two daughters and spending quality time with her family who she adored. Survivors include in addition to her husband and parents, two daughters, Lauren Slater (Aden) of Virginia Beach and Hilary Slater (Miguel) of Kennett Square; five sisters, Cynthia Hickman (Don) of Grandview Heights, Ohio, Mary Voldnes (Idar) of Centerville, Va., Julie Oster (Guy) of Atlanta, Ga., Annie Rusnak of Lakewood, Ohio and Audrey Rusnak also of Lakewood; her in-laws James D. and Edna F. Slater of Glen Mills and many nieces and nephews. You are invited to visit with Jean’s family and friends from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Friday, April 24 at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home Inc. (610-444-4116), 250 W. State St. Kennett Square, PA 19348. A funeral ceremony celebrating her life will follow at 2 p.m. Interment will be held privately. Snyder, Paul H.* - West Chester  
Paul H. Snyder of West Chester Paul H. Snyder, 65, of West Chester, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by loved ones on April 20, 2015. He is predeceased by his father, Paul A. Snyder. He is survived by his mother, Eleanor Snyder (nee Howard), sister Janet Wiegand (nee Snyder), and brother Steven C. Snyder. Also, he is survived by his loving wife Pamela O. Snyder (nee Lewis) of 43 years; son Russell J. Snyder and his wife Donna, their children Jacob, Adam, Kylie and Benjamin; his son Randall S. Snyder and his children Shelby and Leo; and his daughter Alicia Danuser and her husband Bradley. Paul accepted Jesus into his heart in his teens and lived a godly life. He was a graduate of Henderson High School and attended Drexel Institute and also served four years in the United States Air Force. Paul was self-employed as a Computer Consultant. Paul loved spending time with his family and was an avid reader. He also enjoyed electronic gadgets, collecting, and more recently his cats kept him company. Sturgis, Charlene* - New Holland, Formerly Of Kennett Square  
Charlene Sturgis of New Holland, formerly of Kennett Square Charlene Sturgis, 88 of New Holland, formerly of Kennett Square, died on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Garden Spot Village. Charlene was the loving wife of John E. Sturgis who died in 2012. Born in Dayton, Ohio on February 26, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Grover Palmer and Laura Martin Palmer. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Church of New Holland. Charlene is survived by a son John K. Sturgis and his wife Florence of Kennett Square; a daughter Kristie Wright and her husband Arthur of Parkesburg; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by four brothers, one sister and a son, Scott Timothy who died in July 2002. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Friday April 24, 2015 at 12 noon at Christian Fellowship Church, 758 Spruce Road, New Holland with visitation from 11 a.m. to 12 noon. Interment will be private.
