Wilma graduated from West Chester High School in 1949. She worked at the Warner Theatre. One of the highlights of her later life was touring the new Warner Hotel. She loved sharing with them that she and her sister worked there in their teenaged years and they were now in their 80’s. After raising her daughters to grade school age, she began working for Ugite Gas Co, which eventually became Amerigas. Wilma worked there for more than 40 years. Wilma belonged to a card club, with her high school friends that lasted into their 40’s. She was the Worthy Matron of the West Chester Chapter 352 Order of the Eastern Star. She was awarded a 50 year pin, of which she was very proud. She loved to knit. She loved her Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Phillies. Wilma was an avid Dancing with the Stars fan. She kept a notebook close to her on Monday nights, with the phone numbers of the contestants. She wasn’t happy when she couldn’t use all her votes!
