Ahern, Elizabeth A. "Betty" (Gould)* - Downingtown  
Elizabeth A. "Betty" (Gould) Ahern, 74, of Downingtown, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2015, at Sunrise of Exton. She was the beloved wife of the late John R. Ahern, with whom she shared 40 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2004. Born in Hartford, Conn., she was the daughter of the late Warren V. and Alma M. Gendron Gould. Betty volunteered at Paoli Hospital for eight years, Safe Harbor in West Chester for four years and Downingtown School District for five years. She was a member of the Downing Forge Communication Committee and helped with Voter Services on Election Day for over 10 years. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church, Downingtown, where she was active with St. Joseph H.O.P.E. Betty is survived by her three children, Ann E. (Paul) Wagner, John P. (Marypat) and Michael W. (Sandra Doyle) Ahern; brother, Ralph W. (Lilas) Gould; two sisters, Kathy (Brian) Sagese and Alma (Robert) LaPlant. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, W. Paul, IV and Jason P. Wagner, Natalie M., Jonathan M., Sasha E. and Aislinn A. Ahern and by a sister-in-law Joann (Bob) McGinnis. An evening visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, at St. Joseph Church, 460 Manor Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, West Chester. Brogan Jr., Charles M.* - Malvern  
Charles M. Brogan Jr. of Malvern Charles M. Brogan, Jr. died on Thursday, June 25, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Katherine Dannaker Brogan, Charles was born on March 17, 1933 in Philadelphia, Pa. to the late Charles M. Brogan, Sr. and Irene Kendrick Brogan. He was a graduate of Radnor High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He worked many years for the U.S. Post Office as a Postmaster. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church of Malvern and enjoyed bird watching and tinkering with cars, but his greatest enjoyment was his family. He was the father of Charles M. Brogan III (Tammy), Karen Barbato (Rick), Michael Brogan, Stephen Brogan (Christine), and Suzanne Carey (Todd); brother of Virginia Wheet, Irene Christy, Jane Fallon, William Brogan, Thomas Brogan, George Brogan, and Loretta Maitre; grandfather of 14 and great-grandfather of one. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Charles’s visitation on Thursday, July 2 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Saints Philip and James Church, 107 North Ship Road Exton, Pa., followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Interment in Philadelphia Memorial Park. Campbell, Noelle Loue* - Formerly Of Parkesburg  
Noelle Loue Campbell, formerly of Parkesburg Noelle Loue Campbell, 37, of Leesburg, Virginia passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 18, 2015. She was the wife of Nicholas Campbell for 14 years. Born in New Jersey, she was the daughter of Carolyn L. Bodle Loue and William E. Loue III of Lancaster, Pa. Noelle was a graduate of Octorara High School in Atglen, Pa. She attended James Madison University in Virginia and earned a Master’s Degree in Special Education. She was employed by Fairfax County Schools in Herndon, Va. as a Special Education Teacher prior to becoming a full time stay at home mother. She is a member of the Parkesburg Presbyterian Church in Parkesburg, Pa. She is mother to Ian Russell, 10, Colin Melvin, 5, and Savannah Carolyn, 1 1/2, all of Leesburg. In addition to her husband, parents and children, she is survived by siblings, William E. Loue IV of Wilmington, N.C., Russell J. Loue of Haddonfield, N.J. and Andrew H. Loue of Slippery Rock, Pa. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, July 2 at 12 noon at Chestnut Level Presbyterian Church in Chestnut Level, Pa. The address is 1068 Chestnut Level Rd, Quarryville, PA 17566. 717-548-2763. Champion, Susanne Speers* - Malvern  
Susanne Speers Champion of Berwyn, PA, a selfless wife, mother, teacher, and servant to her church and community, went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday, June 26, 2015 at the age of 76. She was born on May 25, 1939, to the late Beatrice Jernee Speers and Thomas E. Speers of Landsdowne, PA. She was the oldest of four siblings, the loving sister of Stephen Speers, Thomas E. Speers, Jr., and Frederick Speers. Susanne and the love of her life, Dr. Benjamin W. Champion, celebrated 55 years of marriage, leaning on their faith in Christ as they devoted their lives to their three children, B. Todd Champion (Candice), Laura C. Taylor (Aaron), and Andrew W. Champion (Layne) and their beloved grandchildren, Alora and Ava. Christ's selfless love emanated through Susanne, as her motherly love overflowed to countless others whom she took under her wing and nurtured through life's challenges over the decades. Her wisdom and biblical counsel shaped and guided more lives than can be counted. Susanne had a passion for knowledge and pursued a Bachelor of Arts in English and History from Eastern Baptist College in St. Davids, PA, then went on to receive a Master's Degree from Temple University, PA and certification as a Reading Specialist. She taught at Tredyffrin-Easttown School District for countless years and as poured her skills as a reading specialist out to the students of Cornerstone Christian Academy in West Philadelphia for several years. Her patience and caring had a profound effect on the students whose lives she touched. Devoted to service in Missions Ministry on the Missions Board of Paoli Presbyterian Church, Susanne also shared in teaching the Tuesday Morning Women's Bible Study and served as an Elder. She will be remembered for her boundless faith in Christ, her optimism, her loving kindness, and her genuine interest in and affection for people from all walks of life. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Susanne's life celebration on Tuesday, June 30, 2015, with an opportunity for greeting and viewing from 9:30 am -10:30 am at Paoli Presbyterian Church 225 South Valley Road Paoli, PA, followed by her memorial service at 11am.
