Albert C. Jackalous Jr.

Albert C. Jackalous Jr. of West Bradford Township Albert C. Jackalous, Jr., 72, of West Bradford Township, formerly of Chester, passed away on Feb. 12, 2013 in West Chester. Born in 1940 in Salem, N.J., he was the son of Mary (Warnas) and Albert C. Jackalous, Sr., both deceased. He was a graduate of St. James High School and served honorably in the U.S. Army. Albert worked as a maintenance supervisor for New Seasons Assisted Living in Devon. In addition to his parents, Albert was predeceased by his son, Michael D. Jackalous. He is survived by his wife, Linda A. (Lee) Jackalous; his children, Amanda McGuigan (Paul) and David A. L. Jackalous (Nichole); grandson, Bryan Conner McGuigan; and siblings, Frank Jackalous (Patricia), Harry Jackalous, Carole Ostant (Ronald) and Joseph Jackalous. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 18, and his funeral service at 11 a.m., at St. Francis in the Fields Episcopal Church, 689 Sugartown Road, Malvern, PA 19355. Interment will be at St. Francis in the Fields Church Cemetery, Malvern. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Compass Point, 335 E. Lancaster Avenue, Suite F-12, Downingtown, PA 19335. The gifts will enable differently disabled individuals who are in financial need to attend the Compass Point outings.
