Clauzell Jenkins

Clauzell Jenkins of Coatesville Clauzell Jenkins, 84, of passed away on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012 at Brandywine Hospital, Coatesville. Born in Brewton, Ala., he was the son of the late Eula and Will Jenkins and the husband of Lorraine Jenkins of Christiana, Pa. He was employed as a grinder for the former Lukens Steel for over 30 years. He also worked at the Valley Township Building in housekeeping for several years. He enjoyed watching old cowboy movies. He was a member and trustee of Brewer Memorial Baptist Church in Pomeroy. He is survived by one son, Tommy Jenkins , husband of Geraldine of Detroit, Mich.; and two daughters, Barbara Martinez, wife of Joe of Coatesville and Lisa Smith of Detroit, Mich.; 11 grandchildren; 33 great- grandchildren; one sister, Helen R. Davis of Detroit, Mich.; a best friend who was like a brother, Robert Stevens of Coatesville; in addition to a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by three children, Clauzell Jr., Gloria Jean and Cardell Jenkins; and four siblings, Eva Mae Fairley Fortune, Alice Everett, Robert Jenkins and Willie C. Jenkins. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, Oct. 26, at Brewer Memorial Baptist Church, 1996 Valley Road, Pomeroy, PA 19367. Family and friends may pay their respects from 10 a.m. until 12 noon at the church on the day of services. Interment at Church of Christ Cemetery, Ercildoun, Pa.
