Elizabeth Jane "Betty" Coldren

Elizabeth Jane 'Betty' Coldrenof Coatesville Elizabeth Jane "Betty" Coldren, 83, of Coatesville died Saturday, March 23, 2013, at her home. She was the wife of Arthur W. Coldren, who preceded her in death in 2009 and with whom she shared 48 years of marriage. Born in Toughkenamon, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Hannah Weidner Goodwin, Sr. Betty was a member of Bible Presbyterian Church for many years and recently attended Hope Fellowship Church. Betty worked at Sharp's Drugstore, the New Idea Laundry, for 12 years at Bell Telephone and was an Avon representative for 25 years. She also devoted her time to caring for her son, David who died in 1992. Surviving her is a daughter, Brenda L. Grandizio; a brother, Richard Goodwin; two grandchildren Nicholas J. and Gina M. Grandizio; and a great grandson, Domonic. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 28, at the Harris-Mountain Funeral Home, 1030 E. Lincoln Highway, Coatesville.
