Eva Wheatley

Eva Wheatley of Exton Eva Wheatley (nee Taylor), 92, of Exton, formerly of Charlestown Township, passed away on Feb. 9, 2013 at the Neighborhood Hospice. Born in 1921 in New York, N.Y., Eva was the daughter of Eva (Sussex) and Joseph Taylor, both deceased. Eva graduated from West Chester High School in the class of 1940 and she worked as an administrative assistant for Vishay Intertechnology. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard T. Wheatley for over 50 years; loving mother of Richard T. Wheatley (Linda) of Omaha, Neb., Robert J. Wheatley (Mary) of Elverson and Thomas A. Wheatley (Eleanor) of Hockessin, Del.; dear grandmother of Thomas Wheatley, David Wheatley, Robert Wheatley, Aaron Wheatley and Bethany Wheatley and eight great- grandchildren; dear sister of Virginia Wakefield of Media and Joseph Taylor of Medina, Ohio. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, at the Donohue Funeral Home, 43 W. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown, 610-269-3080, and from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at the Windsor Baptist Church, 213 Little Conestoga Rd., Uwchland, PA 19480, followed by her funeral service at 11a.m. Interment will be at the Windsor Baptist Church Cemetery.
