Harold L. Bailey

Harold L. Bailey of West Grove Harold L. Bailey, 85 of West Grove, died Monday March 25, 2013, at the Jennersville Regional Hospital. He was the husband of Velma Evans Bailey, with whom he shared 63 years of marriage. Born in Sadsburyville, Pa., he was a son of the late Clarence S. and Olga Flaherty Bailey. Harold served our country in the Army during WWII and the Korean War. He then worked for over 49 years in our area as a farm machinery mechanic. He enjoyed annual vacations to the beach, Phillies baseball and cruise vacations. Most of all, he adored his family especially his grandchildren. Survivors include, in addition to his wife; one son, Bruce Bailey (Julia) of Strasburg, Pa.; two daughters, Judith Napieralski of West Grove and Ginger Kielarowski (Ray) of Knoxville, Tenn.; one brother, Clarence Bailey of Thomas, Ga.; two sisters, Helen Hackman of Avondale and Dolores Santiago of Oxford; and five grandchildren, Caroline, Wyatt, DJ, Bailey and Meredith. He was predeceased by two grandchildren, Rachel and Mason; two brothers, Quentin and George and one sister, Amy.
