Harold T. "Tim" Barnett of Chester Springs Harold T. "Tim" Barnett, 64, of Chester Springs, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at his home. He was the beloved husband of Alexandra M. Scott Barnett, with whom he shared 25 years of marriage. Born in Phoenixville, he was the son of the late Edward A. and Maryanne Zwarych Barnett. A graduate of Phoenixville High School, he proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War
earning the rank of Aviation Machinist's Mate 3rd Class and the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service and Campaign Medals, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal and the Meritorious Unit Commendation. Mr. Barnett was formerly employed by Norco Motors in Pottstown where he worked as an automotive technician for over 22 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Kelly and John of Chester Springs; sister, Patricia Gruteke of Florida; and by his nieces and nephews.
