Hedwig M. Grab

Hedwig M. 'Honey' Grab of Brookhaven Hedwig M. "Honey" Grab (nee Skulski), 82, passed away peacefully at her home on July 8, 2014. Born in Chester, she was a long time resident of Wallingford, before moving to Brookhaven 5 years ago. She attended Chester High School and was an Audio Visual Assistant at the library in Widener University. Honey was a lifelong member of St. Johns Chrysostom, Wallingford. She belonged to many social dance groups and was an artist who enjoyed making flower and wreath arrangements. Above all else she cherished time spent with her family and she was a devoted grandmother and mother. Honey was predeceased by her husband of 25 years before his passing Christian Grab; her parents Catherine and John Skulski; and 11 siblings. She is survived by her children, Robert Grab, Stephen (Laurie) Grab,and Kathleen (Mike) Evans; her sister, Catherine Waryga; long time companion, Ed Dougherty; her grandchildren, Chris, Carrie, Sean, Stash, Charlie, and Georgia; and four great-granddaughters. Funeral service is at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 12th, at the Bateman Funeral Home, 4220 Edgmont Ave., Brookhaven, PA 19015. Visitation is from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
