Marion Douie Felten "Nan" Manley

Marion 'Nan' Douie Felten Manley, formerly of Downingtown Marion "Nan" Douie Felten Manley, 98, of Willow Street, formerly of Downingtown, passed away on Feb. 21, 2013. Born in Roxborough on Aug. 19, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Laura (nee Fryer) Douie. Marion was a graduate of Roxborough High School, class of 1932. She was a former member of the Downingtown Baptist Church and was a board member for the Baptist Children's Services. Marion volunteered for Meals on Wheels, taught Sunday school for 50 years, enjoyed oil painting and was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Millersville. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilber Felten who passed away in 1983. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah F. Matsumoto; grandchildren, Sarah (Mark) Kobayashi, Rachel (Lazarus) Gehring, Stephen (Melissa) Matsumoto and Lt. Commander David (fiance Kim Raugi) Matsumoto, Tanya (Ken Middleton) Stroh; great-grandchildren, Malachi and Moses Kobayashi, Keziah, Noah, Hannah, Constantine, Demetrius, Artemius, Cornelius, Mamas and Kypriana Gehring, Job, Diego, Magdalena-May and Vivia-Marion Matsumoto, and Tesse Maria Stroh; and son-in-law, Roland Raad. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce Raad. Relatives and friends are invited to Marion's Life Celebration from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday, March 2, with her funeral service at 10 a.m. at Ralston & Bredickas of Downingtown, 107 W. Lancaster Ave. Immediately following the service the interment will be at Northwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations me be sent to My Faith, 1209 E. Wyoming Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19124.
