Ralph F. Brown

Ralph F. Brown of West Chester Ralph F. Brown, 91, of West Chester, died Saturday, May 18, 2013, at the Neighborhood Hospice Inpatient Unit in West Chester. He was the husband of Eula Brown, with whom he shared 71 years of marriage. Born in Alvarado, Va., he was the son of the late Jacob Lee and Inez Chaple Brown. Ralph was a farmer, a service manager at M S Yearsley & Sons in West Chester, and the Fire Marshall for East and West Goshen townships. He was a life member of the Goshen Fire Company. He enjoyed hunting and camping. In addition to his wife, Ralph is survived by two sons, Michael Brown and his wife, Kathleen, and David Brown, all of West Chester; three grandsons; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty McMillan of Pottstown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Ralph W. Brown and three brothers, James, Jack and Ernest. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, at the Founds Funeral Home, Inc., 229 South High Street, West Chester, 610-696-0134. For those who are able to attend, there will be a brief graveside service at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 23rd at Glenwood Memorial Gardens, 2321 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008. The family would like to invite everyone to join them for a time of fellowship and light refreshments beginning at 12 noon on Thursday, May 23rd at the Goshen Fire Company, 1320 Park Avenue, West Chester, PA 19380. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Ralph's name to the Goshen Fire Company at the above address.
