Ray Gale Barker

Ray Gale Barker of Toughkenamon Ray Gale Barker, 74, of Toughkenamon, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013 at the Bryn Mawr Hospital in Paoli. He was the husband of Geraldine Roberts Barker with whom he shared 55 years of marriage. Born in Ashe County N.C., he was a son of the late Luther Voto and Lucy Hart Barker. Ray was a truck driver for several companies throughout his career including Ebbecke Mushroom Transport, Chester County Beverage and most recently Mushroom Express. He enjoyed gardening and being outdoors. Most of all, he was known as a hard worker who took good care of his loving family. Survivors include, in addition to his wife, two daughters, Debra Lyall and Marty of Cochranville and Patricia Davenport and Andre of Oxford; three sisters, Dorothy Darnell (Clarence) of Cochranville, Geneva Jumper (Sam) of Hunluck Creek, Pa. and his twin sister, Gay Miller (Charles) of Newark, Del.; two brothers, Carl Barker, and Harlbert Barker (Brenda) both of Jefferson N.C.; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Bernice and three brothers, Donald, Glenn and Earl.
