Robert Charles Thomason II

Robert Charles Thomason II, formerly of West Chester Robert Charles Thomason, II, 57, of Everett, Wash., passed away Friday, May 10, 2013, following a brief illness. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Robert and Edith Thomason. He graduated from Henderson High School in West Chester in 1973. He served 4 years in the Navy aboard the USS Stanley. In 1987 Bob moved to Everett, Wash. At the time of his death, he was employed as a correctional officer with the state. He recently completed his master's degree in criminal justice with a 3.9 GPA, and was a member of the National Honor Society. In his spare time, Bob enjoyed scouting the local thrift stores and spending time with a great group of friends that had become like a second family. A sister Karen and her husband Kurt Simon of Broomfield, Colo. survive Bob, along with three nieces and three nephews. Two brothers, Donald and Richard Thomason, preceded Bob in death. Interment will be private at a later date. Those who wish to make a memorial contribution are encouraged to donate either items or cash to The Goodwill Store, 3002 Hoyt Ave., Everett, WA 98201, or a thrift store of their choice.
