Wanda L. Longo

Wanda L. Longo of Chester Springs Wanda L. Longo, 48, of Chester Springs, passed away on Monday, Nov. 26, 2012 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She was the beloved wife of Randy P. Longo, her high school sweetheart, with whom she shared 24 years of marriage. Upon graduating from high school, Wanda continued her education at Rutgers University - Douglas College, and then earned her master's degree from Western Connecticut State University in 1993. Her kids were her everything, and before choosing to stay home to devote her life to her family, she was an elementary school teacher for 14 years. Wanda was devoted to prayer, volunteering and children's ministry. She also enjoyed reading, sewing and scrapbooking. She was a member of Calvary Fellowship Church in Downingtown. In addition to her husband, Wanda is also survived by her children, August K. and Shelby J. Longo, at home; mother, Judith Mikesell Semplak of Chester Springs; father, William Pritt of Triangle, Va.; and sister, Connie L. Cornett of Fredericksburg, Va. An evening visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29th at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown. An afternoon visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 4 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30th at Calvary Fellowship Church, 95 W. Devon Dr., Downingtown.
