Lucille Hoskins Obituary
Born in Bainbridge Island, Wash., she was the daughter of the late Gunnar and Ingeborg Strand Hanson.
She proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
Lucille lived in the area for more than 57 years.
She was employed by Wyeth Laboratories in West Chester, retiring in 1982.
She is survived by three children, George "Rick" R. Hoskins Jr. of Indianola, Wash., Brian L. Hoskins and his wife, Cheri, of Parkesburg, and Barbara, wife of Steve Patterson of Coatesville; stepdaughter, Linda Profeto of Coatesville; nine grandchildren; and three siblings, Earl S. Hanson and Jeanette Vert, both of Washington State, and Reynold S. Hanson of Rochester, N.Y.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 14, at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, followed by interment in the Upper Octorara Cemetery, Parkesburg.
Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing from 10 to 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Coatesville VA Medical Center, 1400 Blackhorse Hill Road, Coatesville, PA 19320.

Fond memories when I met Aunt Lucille for the first time when she came to Ron's ordination at my parents home in Salt Lake City. What a hoot she was! We laughed and laughed, I feel extremely blessed to have met her. SO sorry for your loss Rick and the entire family.
