Mark F. "Ted" McCue

Mark F. 'Ted' McCue of West Chester Mark F. "Ted" McCue, 79, of West Chester, died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014, at the Neighborhood Hospice Inpatient Unit in West Chester. He was the husband of Sarah J. "Sally" McCue with whom he shared 54 years of marriage in December 2013. He was proud of his children, Mark Robert McCue (Danielle), Lance Allen McCue, Sr. (Victoria); and his grandchildren, Lance Allen, Jr., Joseph Mark, Chet Ryan, Morgan Ann, Leigh Ann, Corey Joseph and Courtney Renee McCue. Born in West Chester Riggtown, he was the son of the late Mark F. McCue, Jr. and Dorothy T. McCue-Fox. Ted served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War on the USS Saipan. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and the VFW Post 106. He played softball, enjoyed bowling and playing cards. He was a co-founder of the West Chester University Rams Club where he was an officer for many years. Ted was the statistician for the West Chester University football team and various sports for over 40 years. He loved sports and was very active with his children and grandchildren sports. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Service 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc., 410 N. Visitations will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014 and also from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, at the funeral home.
