Alan Lichty Obituary

Alan W. Lichty of West Chester Alan W. Lichty, 53, of West Chester, passed away suddenly about 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at his home in West Chester. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of Ivan F. Lichty and the late Betty Telford Lichty. In addition to his father, he is survived by his sister, Barbara Lichty Rowe of Gaithersburg, Md., several cousins and his longtime friend, Christopher Garber of West Chester. He attended Mary C. Howse School, East Junior High School, The George School and Henderson High School. He recently worked at the West Goshen Deli, and previously at the Courtyard Inn, and Ron's Original Bar and Grill. He attended Grove United Methodist Church. Alan was a sensitive, loving person with a big heart. Relatives and friends are invited to his Graveside Service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013, at Grove United Methodist Cemetery, 471 W. Boot Road, West Chester, PA 19380. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Alan's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Flr. 17, Chicago, IL 60601 and/or to Grove United Methodist Church, 490 W.
