Albert Cesar Cinorre of West Chester Albert Cesar Cinorre, 78, died peacefully on Oct. 13, 2012 at the Neighborhood Hospice Inpatient Unit in West Chester with his wife by his side. He was married to Virginia (Benyo) Cinorre, his wife of 45 years. Born in Milmont Park, Pa. on August 28, 1934, he was the son of the Late Pietro Luigi Cinorre and Ninetta Lacianca Cinorre. Mr. Cinorre attended St. Agnes School for 12 years and graduated from Villanova University in 1957 with a degree in commerce and finance. He held a CPA certificate from the State of PA. He was a member of the U.S. Army Reserves. Mr. Cinorre was employed at Merck and Company in Rahway, N.J. for 24 years and lastly as vice-president of computer resources until his retirement in 1991. Prior to his employment at Merck, he worked for the accounting firm of Main Lafrentz & Company in Philadelphia and accounting manager at Georgia-Pacific in Paoli. Mr. Cinorre began his career with Merck in 1967 as a senior consolidation accountant in corporate. He then became the financial manager of the Merck Sharp and Dohme Research Laboratories and was the first representative for both Kelco in San Diego and Baltimore Aircoil in Severna Park, Md., then subsidiaries of Merck. Returning to Rahway, he became assistant controller of Specialty Chemicals Division and in 1981 controller of Merck. In 1986, Mr. Cinorre was named vice-president of computer resources. While working at Merck as head of the computer function, he transformed the area into an organization which is recognized as a leader in the use of computer technology He loved history, travel and sports, especially golf. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Patricia Ann Cinorre and Karen Marie Cinorre Levy, both of New York City, N.Y. Albert's family is grateful for the care he received at the Chester County Hospital, Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital, Neighborhood Hospice of West Chester and Senior Helpers Organization in Exton. Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral Mass, 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 18, at St. Agnes Church, 233 West Gay St. West Chester, where visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Interment will be at St. Agnes Cemetery in West Chester. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Neighborhood Hospice Inpatient Unit, 400 West Marshall St. West Chester, PA 19380 and/or the .
