Alexander J. Dudasik, 87, of West Chester, passed away on Sept. 27, 2012, at Neighborhood Hospice.
Born in Chester, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (nee Korba) Dudasik.
Alexander worked for Belmont Structural Steel in Eddystone, where he transported steel for 20 years, also at Westinghouse in Lester, where he was a crane operator for 10 years, and Schramms in West Chester, also working as a crane operator for 10 years before retiring. He loved traveling with his wife and volunteered at the Red Cross for 15 years.
He is survived by his living wife, Irene E (nee Clutterbuck) Dudasik, and predeceased by his daughter, Alexis Dudasik. He is also survived by his nephew, Charles (Virginia) Grasza, and his niece, Mary Kay (John Sr.) Ryan.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, at Ss. Simon and Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ss. Simon and Jude Church. Interment will be at Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his honor to Neighborhood Hospice, 400 E. Marshall St., West Chester, PA 19380.
