April Boyd Obituary
Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of Joseph Boyd Sr. of Leola and Lola Jean Trivett Boyd of Nottingham.
She graduated from Solanco High School's Class of 2008 and the Schilling-Douglas School of Hair Design, Wilmington, Del. She was previously employed with Texture Salon, Oxford.
April will be missed by all of her loved ones and friends. We will remember her for her charisma, energy and smile.
She is survived by her parents; one son, Landen William Boyd; one brother, Joseph John Boyd Jr. and his wife, Heather; twin sister, Amanda Jean Boyd; maternal grandparents, Carson and Ruby Trivett; paternal grandmother, Mary Cartledge; and aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Harry and Dorothy Cartledge.
A viewing will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9, and from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 10, at the Edward L. Collins Jr. Funeral Home Inc., 86 Pine St., Oxford, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Interment will be in Oxford Cemetery.

I've known April for about 4 years and I just found out about this tragedy tonight. My heart breaks for all of her friends and family. She was a beautiful person and I'll always cherish the memories I have of April.
