Carl C. Crede

Carl C. Crede of West Chester Carl C. Crede, 84 of West Chester, died Monday, May 13, 2013 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. He was the husband of June Lorraine Scheffey Crede with whom he shared 60 years of marriage. Born in Springfield, he was the son of the late Loyd S. Crede and the late Helen Gray Crede. For 37 years, Carl worked for the West Chester Area School District. He was principal of East Goshen Elementary School, Exton Elementary School and then moved to the central office as manager of operations. Carl served in the US Army during the Korean War. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, David Crede and his wife Karen of Lincoln, Del. and Gregory Crede of Tampa, Fla.; and his grandchildren, Erin and Justin Crede. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Randall Crede. Services and interment are private.
