Carol Arlene Field

Carol Arlene Field of Paoli Carol Arlene Field, 76, passed away at her residence on May 23, 2013, after an extended illness. Born in Akron, Ohio on Nov. 28, 1936, she was the daughter of the late John and Theresa Neidert. She was the wife of Bruce A. Field, with whom she shared 53 years of marriage. Carol was an active member of Paoli Presbyterian Church, where she focused many of her interests. She sang in the choir, was a long time member of the Tuesday Morning Bible Study, and helped with the church's food closet and furniture ministry programs. She took great delight in visiting her children and grandchildren, and enjoyed sharing their milestones. For several years she worked as a medical secretary. In addition to her husband Bruce; she is survived by son, Jeffrey and his wife Jeri of Newport News, Va. and son Kevin of North Ridgeville, Ohio; grandchildren, Michael and Jamie; sisters, Patricia Jones Neal and Joan Snyder, and brother Robert Neidert, all of the Akron area. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 30, at Paoli Presbyterian Church, 225 S. Valley Road, Paoli, PA 19301. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Paoli Presbyterian Church Chapel Fund at the above address.
