Catherine Lindsey Obituary

Catherine 'Kay' Herring Lindsey, formerly of West Chester Catherine "Kay" Herring Lindsey, 86, formerly of West Chester, passed peacefully on Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at Schilling Gardens in Collierville, Tenn. She attended Grenada High School and Millsaps College. Ms. Lindsey was a retired accountant and music teacher who lived most of her life in West Chester. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.H. Herring. She is survived by her sister, Frances H. Barnard of Memphis, Tenn.; two nieces, Jeanne Barnard of Thibodaux, La. and Sue Barnard Lynn of Germantown, Tenn.; and two nephews, Bill Barnard of Sylvania, Ohio and Joseph Barnard of Bartlett, Tenn. Memorial gift suggestions are to American Heart Association, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Kay and my husband Jim Burnett and I were very good friends. Kay did oor taxes and we came to Memphis with
her. She will be sadly missed. My prayers are with Kay you and your family.
