Cindy Baird Obituary
Cindy Baird of Quincy, Mass. Cindy Baird, age 71, of Quincy, Mass. died Thursday, February 20, 2014 at the Quincy Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family after a battle with cancer. She was born in Borger, Texas, and raised and educated in Butler, Pennsylvania. Cindy graduated from Penn State University, Class of 1963 and received a Master's Degree in Education from West Chester University in Pennsylvania. She lived in Quincy, Mass. for thirty-three years, previously living in Pennsylvania. Cindy worked as a teacher for the Octorara Area School District for many years. She had most recently been employed as an Assistant Manager at the Union Federal Savings Bank in Boston, Mass. for over twenty years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed motorcycles, skiing and gardening. She was the Beloved wife for thirty years of Patrick Lovett, the sister of Andrew A. Baird and his wife Mary Ellen of Girard, Ohio and Sally R. Baird of New Bern, North Carolina, the Loving daughter-in-law of Mary J. (Cusick) Lovett of Quincy, Mass., the Dear sister-in-law of Paul A. Lovett and his wife Sandra of Pembroke, Mass., Susan M. Lovett and her husband Matt Wunder of Sante Fe, New Mexico, Martha M. Lovett and her husband Peter Robichaud of Moscow, Idaho, Joseph Lovett and his wife Carmen M. Rivera of Florence, Mass. and Daniel Lovett and his wife Stacy Adams of Ashfield, Mass. and the Loving aunt of Jessie H. Aldridge and Chris H. Harmon both of North Carolina, Patrick Jonas Robichaud of Idaho, and Hannalise I. Rivera-Lovett and Iliana J. Rivera-Lovett both of Mass. Visiting Hours will be held at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, Mass. Sunday, February 23rd from 2 to 5 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Interment Private.
