David C. Rayburn

David C. Rayburn of West Chester David C. Rayburn, 70, of West Chester, passed away on Monday May 20, 2013, at Chester County Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Carolyn Rayburn, with whom he shared 48 years of marriage. Born in Bridgeport, Conn., David was the son of the late David C Rayburn Sr. and Phydelma Rayburn. David was a direct marketing executive for many years, working both domestically and internationally. Later in life he joined the financial industry as a financial advisor. He was a graduate of King's College in Wilkes- Barre. While at Kings he was a member of the football team, playing both offense and defense. David enjoyed being an active member of the Rotary Club of West Chester and looked forward to the Thursday luncheon meetings. He served as its president from 2009 to 2010. He relished spending time with family and friends. He was especially proud of his beautiful children and grandchildren. In addition to his wife, David is survived by his son, Brandt Rayburn and his wife Maureen; and his daughters, Heather Rayburn Triolo and Deirdre Rayburn. He cherished his beautiful granddaughters, Amelia Jane Rayburn and Cassidy Anne Rayburn. A memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 31st at St. Agnes Church, 233 West Gay St., West Chester. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to the West Chester Rotary Foundation, PO Box 743, West Chester PA 19380.
