Doris M. Testa

Doris M. Testa of West Chester Doris M. Testa, 82, of West Chester, died Tuesday June 11, 2013, at the Neighborhood Hospice in West Chester. She was the wife of the late Carlo F. Testa Born in Philadelphia, she was the eldest daughter of the late Russell Shaw and the late Kathryn Digman Shaw. Doris retired as maintenance coordinator at Kendall Crosslands in Kennett Square after 20 years of service. Coming from Delaware County, she lived in the West Chester area since 1960. Doris was a member of St. Agnes Church, where she was a Eucharistic Minister and team member of R.C.I.A. She was a promoter for Retreat Weekends at Elkins Park Retreat House (Dominican Convent). Her memberships included the West Chester Area Senior Center and the West Chester AARP, local #1520. She is survived by her children, Carl F. Testa, Jr., U.S. Navy Master Chief (Ret.) of Covington, Tenn., Mark J. Testa of Ft. Myers, Fla., Joseph Testa of Canton, Ga., and Constance L. Turpin of Virginia Beach, Va.; sister, Joan Corriveau of Tustin, Calif.; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and close friend, John Knox of West Chester. She was preceded in death by daughter, Kathleen A. Walker Services will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the Neighborhood Hospice in West Chester.
