Helen Brown Obituary

Helen E. Brown, formerly of West Chester Helen E. Brown, 89, formerly of West Chester, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at Neighborhood Hospice Inpatient Unit. Born in Quarryville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lottie Pierce McFalls. Helen was a graduate of Tredyffrin/Easttown High School and worked at Pepperidge Farms in Downingtown as a supervisor. She was an active member of Grove United Methodist Church where she participated in the Elderberries Group. She enjoyed traveling, watching the Phillies, and walking every night. Helen is survived by her son James and wife, Del; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 17, at Grove United Methodist Church, 490 W. Boot Rd., West Chester, PA 19380, where the family will receive guests starting at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure at https://secure2.convio.net/rfcphl/site/Donation.
