Henrietta L. Killam

Henrietta L. Killam, formerly of West Chester Henrietta L. Killam, 85, of Carmel, Indiana passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014. She was the wife of the late Kent Austin Killam of Malvern and a devoted wife and mother. Henrietta was the daughter of the late Calvin G. Lauber and Lillian E. Lauber. She was born in Teaneck, N.J. and moved several times during her childhood and adult life until living in the area, first in Malvern and then West Chester, for 29 years. She attended Tufts University in Medford, Mass. where she met her husband of 37 years. She was a member of the Paoli Presbyterian Church where she served as a deacon. Henrietta is survived by two daughters and two grandsons,Karen L. Kelsey (Douglas) of Zionsville, Ind. and her stepson Michael D. Witt, and Laura J. DesMoine (Hector) of Summit, N.J. and her stepson James DesMoine. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 19th, in the Chapel of Paoli Presbyterian Church. Friends and relatives may call from 10 to 11 a.m. at the chapel. A private burial will follow at Great Valley Presbyterian Cemetery in Malvern.
