I was sorry to hear about the death of my old friend and associate, Jack Denton. I worked with him for over 18 years before he retired from Provident Mutual. Jack was a real gentleman of the "old school"- a true gentle man, as kind and considerate as you could find. He was sharp as you could imagine but was still a very humble man. What a wonderful life he lived for 101 years. I can still remember when anyone appeared to have a cold, he would stop them at the door of his office with "Don't come any further". I am sure that this helped him to get to 101. What a great guy! Blessings and condolences to Jack Jr., his sister and their families.

I'm sorry about the passing of Jack, one of my old neighbors. He would call me from time to time to talk about the neighborhood. I was amazed at how alert he was for his age. He was proud that he lived so long. I use to have lunch with him and Dorothea Kappell Harris periodically at Quadrangle and always walked away with amazement at their interest in life. I am the last of the old neighbors left on Nicholson Road. Kindest sympathy to both Jack and Dolly
