Jeffery W. Graham

Jeffery W. Graham, formerly of West Chester Jeffery W. Graham, 95 of Crystal Lake - Clifford Twp. and Clarks Summit died Sat. evening June 29 in Hospice Community Care Inpatient Unit in Dunmore following an illness. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Linen Graham on October 21, 2006. Born May 23, 1918 in Philadelphia, Pa., he was the son of the late Warren C. and Marion (Jones) Graham. He was a 1937 graduate of the Hill School in Pottstown, Pa., and a 1941 graduate of Cornell University. He also did graduate studies at Stonier School of Banking - Rutgers University. Prior to his retirement, he was a Senior Vice President with the mortgage department at PNC Bank and formerly Northeastern Bank. He founded Abington Abstract Co. in 1979 in Clarks Summit and was involved with the daily operation until 2008. Mr. Graham previously resided in West Chester and Paoli, Pennsylvania prior to moving to the Scranton area. He was the owner of International Harvester business in West Chester. Surviving are two daughters: Jane Graham of Mendocino, Calif., and Kathleen Congdon of Granite Bay, Calif.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Jeffery W. Graham Jr. in 1981, his sisters Joyce Wade and Jean Price, his brother John R. Graham and his first wife Dorothy (Shelmire) Graham-Collins. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday August 10th, 2013 at 10 a.m. in St. James Episcopal Church, Route 247, Dundaff, Pa. with Father Graham Cliff as officating clergy.
