Jessie K. Best of West Chester Jessie K. Best, 93 of West Chester, died Friday, Aug. 9, 2013 at Brandywine Hall Care Center in West Chester. She was the wife of the late John C. Best with whom she shared 60 years of marriage prior to his passing. Born in Warwick Twp., she was the daughter of the late William Kline and the late Orpha Wynn Kline. Jessie worked as a hairdresser for Maezell's Beauty Salon before establishing her own hair salon in her home while raising her children. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in West Chester. Jessie enjoyed shopping, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her dachshunds. She is survived by her children, Connie B. Hughes and her husband George, Bonnie L. Best, and her granddaughter, Melinda H. Wallace and her husband Charles. Jessie was predeceased by her five sisters. Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Service, 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013 at Calvary Lutheran Church, 730 S. New Street, West Chester, PA 19382, where visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be held at Philadelphia Memorial Park in Frazer.
