John Adamson Obituary

John Robert Adamson Jr. of West Chester John Robert Adamson Jr., 74, of West Chester died at home Saturday, May 11, 2013 surrounded by his family. John was born in Philadelphia, Pa. and relocated with his family to the West Chester area in the 1960's. He owned and operated Electric Fork Lift Service for over twenty years. John was a United States Army Veteran and a member of both the American Legion and the Disabled American Veterans. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. John is survived by his three children, daughters Jo-Ann Adamson, Jill Adamson-Krasnick and son John (Jay) Adamson all of West Chester. He is also survived by his sister, Linda Richmond of Downingtown, Pa., his six grandchildren and one great grandchild. John is preceded in death by his loving wife Kathryn M. Adamson, his parents John and Bertha Adamson and his sister Carolyn Cabot. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 17th at Saints Phillip and James Church, 723 E. Lincoln Highway (corner of Route 30 and Ship Road) Exton, Pa. In lieu of flowers you may make a donation to the Disabled American Veterans, Attn: Gift Processing, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301
