John P. Keiser of West Chester John P. Keiser, 70, died on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012 at the Chester County Hospital in West Chester. Born in Wilkinsburg, Pa., he was the son of the late Paul R. Keiser and the late Beverley Brown Keiser. John was a graduate of Wilkinsburg High School and The Carnegie Institute of Technology. He spent his working career as a computer specialist with Burroughs, which later became Unisys. John worked in California for many years, then was transferred to West Chester in 1991. John was honorably discharged from the Army National Guard of Pennsylvania. Some of the happiest times of his youth were spent in the hills and woods around Ligonier, Pa. John was an avid supporter of AA, sponsoring many people and establishing an early morning group meeting. He is survived by his sister, Suzanne Davis of Media, a niece and two nephews. Services and interment will be private. At the family's request, contributions should go to support your local AA and/or Salvation Army.
