John P. Sheppard of West Chester John P. Sheppard of West Chester, formerly of Springfield, passed away, peacefully, on Aug. 5, 2013 at Neighborhood Hospice in West Chester. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Ralph F. Sheppard and the late Marie McGonigle. John was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Church. He enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing and spending time in Ocean City, N.J. In addition to his wife, Susan, he is survived by his daughters, Kimberly and Maryjo Anderson; and his grandson, Cody Sachs, to whom he was a father figure and for whom he lived; his sisters, Susan Franco of Coatesville, Karen Rippon of Havertown and Barbara Gallagher (Patrick) of Springfield; as well as many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9th, Ss. Peter & Paul Church, 1325 Boot Road, West Chester, followed by his funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Interment will be private.
