Joseph J. Bird

Joseph J. Bird of Malvern Joseph J. Bird, 81, of Malvern, a former resident of Radnor Hunt Club, entered into rest on March 29, 2013, at his home. Born in Northbrook, Pa., he was the son of the late Joseph H. and Mary E. Pinkerton Bird. Joseph was an Army veteran, and had worked for Bishop Tube in Frazer for many years. He was a member of the former Upper Mainline VFW Post 5203 of Paoli, a member of the 80 & 8, and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his sister, Mary M. Parsons of Kennett Square; two nieces, Deborah Reppert and her husband David of Conway, S.C. and Dionne McNeel and her husband Michael of Exton; two nephews, Larry Parsons and his wife Michele of Bear, Del. and Rusty Parsons of Kennett Square; also six great-nieces and nephews. Joseph's Life Celebration Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, with a visitation from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Mauger/Givnish Funeral Home, 24 Monument Ave., Malvern, PA 19355. Interment Philadelphia Memorial Park Frazer.
