Marjorie L. McGuigan of West Chester Marjorie L. McGuigan (nee Williams), 92, passed away on October 7, 2012. Born in 1920 in Bridgeport, Conn., she was the daughter of Lucille V. (Stevens) and Joseph M. Williams, both deceased. She grew up in Upper Darby and graduated from Upper Darby High School in 1938. She started working for the F.W. Woolworth Company on 69th Street in Upper Darby in 1940 and when it closed in 1971, she transferred, as an assistant merchandise manager, to the Woolworth Regional office in Germantown, which was the headquarters for 300 stores. She retired in 1978. She and her late husband, Paul F. McGuigan, moved to Westtown Farms in 1959. She is survived by her nieces, Dianne McGuigan and Joan Egbert (Rev. Dr. Thomas Egbert) and her nephew, John McGuigan and many other nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, October 11, immediately followed by her funeral service at 11 a.m. at the Donohue Funeral Service, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000.
