Maryruth G. Dapp

Maryruth G. Dapp, formerly of West Chester Maryruth G. Dapp, 86, of Wall Township, N.J., passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, N.J. Maryruth was born in Haverford and raised in West Chester, and graduated from West Chester High School in 1944. Maryruth moved to Boyertown in 1963 and was a resident there until 2008 when she moved to Wall Township, N.J., to reside with her daughter Paula. While living in Boyertown, she worked as a retail clerk for W.T. Grants Department Store, LeFevre's Clothing Store, and Schmoyers Hardware Store. She was a devoted Catholic and was a member of St. Agnes Church in West Chester and then St. Columbkill Church in Boyertown. Maryruth enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, reading, and sewing. She was an avid sports fan. She will forever be remembered for her strength, her wit, her nurturing and compassionate ways, and the love she had for her family and friends. Maryruth was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Paul Dapp, Jr. She is survived by daughters, Judy, wife of John Murray of Hummelstown and Paula Dapp of Wall, N.J.; and a son, Scot Dapp of Bethlehem. Maryruth is also survived by grandchildren, Christopher Murray and wife, Megan, Jonathan Murray and wife Brandi, Jessica Nesbihal, and Michael Nesbihal; and two great- grandchildren, Nathan Murray and Marin Murray. She was predeceased by her sister, Bette Monaghan in 2005. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Commemoration at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 8, at St. Columbkill Church in Boyertown.
