I first met Melanie when she was my clinical instructor for Med/Surg nursing while a student at CCH School of Nursing. As a non- traditional student, Melanie and I were the same age and we bonded quickly as friends. I will never forget her compassion with patients, her patience with us students, her sense of humor, and her never ending smile! I will miss her deeply~~

Mr. Leroy and all who loved Dr. Leroy:
I would love to be there but now thanks to your wife I am a nurse, and can't get time off, but I am so happy to be working in this profession. Dr. Leroy was a sincere, true, funny, caring person who will forever be my idea of what a nurse should be. Its so hard for me to believe that last year she was pinning our nursing class. My heart and prayers go out to you that had her everyday, I had not seen her in a year and I truly miss her. I will never forget her and offer you Mr. Leroy and her pups my condolences.

My thoughts and prayers go out to both Ed and Stacie. Melanie was such a wonderful, warm hearted individual and professional. She loved everyone she grew to know and was always there for you. I worked with Mel many years ago and have always considered her a friend, though it has been years since our last meeting. I am so saddened by her passing and only regret that I was not able to see her before she left this world and is now in a place where life never ends and pain is no more. I thought of Mel so often over the years and will always remember all she did for me when I worked with her on 1 West at Chester County Hospital. She had just been out of nursing school for a short time but we were all like a family down there. I will miss you Mel and know that you will always be with every person whose life you have ever touched on this earth. I will always be so proud to have known Dr. Melanie Leroy and all her accomplishments in life. I will still think of her often and remember our family on 1 West. May you rest in God's peace.

Melanie, I cant find the words to say,but I will start off by saying: I LOVE YOU SO MUCH. You being sick, it just disturbed my heart and soul. I would pray each, and everyday for you, just hoping to see you in that office working once again. That was just thinking like a human (selfish). God has the last words. He does'nt make mistakes. You are his ANGEL Melanie. You have changed, and saved, so many lives. We were all touched by an ANGEL. Heaven was missing an ANGEL, and GOD said to you: A JOB WELL DONE.
WE couldnt feel your pain you were induring, and I couldnt imagine. I just know you were tired, and you just wanted to go home. Thank you so much for loving, and taking care of me.
For the family, Please stay strong and incouraged, she will always be in our HEARTS, and we will always feel her SPIRIT. She is in good hands, now we just have to wait for our time to see her again beyond those pearly gates. You cared for her, Now she will be looking down on you still protecting, and caring for you as always. Melanie will always be IN OUR HEARTS, LOVED, MISSED, AND NEVER FORGOTTEN.I just THANK GOD everyday that I was apart of her LIFE, and she will always be apart of MINE.. God Bless You.
