Melinda Elaine Capriolo

Melinda Elaine Capriolo of Devon Melinda Elaine Capriolo, 51, passed away from cancer at her home Wednesday, July 24, 2013. She was the wife of Ronald Capriolo, with whom she shared 29 years of marriage. Born in Ridley, she was the daughter of Helene Burns and the late Robert Burns. An area resident all her life, she was a graduate in 1979 of Radnor High School. Melinda has worked at many local businesses, including waitressing at Minella's in her teenage years. Melinda was an excellent cook and almost always had a homemade treat sitting out on her counter for her family. She loved animals and her pets could always be found at her side, a cat Sixer and a dog Sophie. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Capriolo; their three children, Paul Capriolo, Ronnie Capriolo and Carly Nodine and her husband Brian; and grandchildren, Timothy and Eva; her mother, Helene Burns, sister, Christa Krumbhaar, and brother, Robert Burns. Family and friends are invited to a service at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 28, at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 640 Berwyn Avenue, Berwyn.
