Patricia R. "Patty" Morgan

Patricia R. Morgan of West Chester Patricia R. 'Patty' Morgan, 59, of West Chester, died Monday, May 6, 2013 at home. Born in Philadelphia, Patty was the daughter of the late James W. and Barbara Gerberich Morgan. She had been employed by Devereux Foundation since 1972, most recently working in payroll, where she was known as 'Payroll Patty.' Patty was an active member of First Presbyterian Church of West Chester where she participated in the Chancel Choir and the Knitwits knitting group. She enjoyed crafts, knitting, crocheting and the Special Olympics. She was also very passionate about animals. Patty is survived by her sister, Sally M. Harpold and her husband Chip of North Coventry; a nephew, Daniel Harpold; a niece, Megan Harpold; and her beloved pets, Opie, Andy and Barney. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, James, and her sister, Carol. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, at First Presbyterian Church of West Chester, 130 W. Miner Street, West Chester, PA 19382, where friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be private in Oaklands Cemetery.
