Patrick M. Tauss, 26, of Downingtown, died suddenly on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014 at the Paoli Hospital. |
Born in Downingtown, he was the son and stepson of Edward G. Tauss and his wife, Jadwiga.
Patrick was predeceased by his mother, Doris Pollock Tauss.
Patrick was a 2006 graduate of Downingtown East High School and was attending Immaculata University and working part-time at the Upper Main Line YMCA in Lionville at the time of his passing.
He also had served in the U.S. Navy Reserve.
Patrick was on the wrestling team at Downingtown East.
He enjoyed bowling, fishing, touch football and was a avid Eagles fan.
In addition to his father and stepmom, he is survived by his siblings, Michael E., Stephen E. and Melanie Sharpless (Clayton); and step-siblings, Anna Oughton (Steve), Jonathan and Patrick Sherlock. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Tatum Nathaniel Tauss, Angela Marie Tauss, Michaela and Mason Tauss; and also by aunts and uncles.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12, at St. Elizabeth Church, 100 St. Elizabeth Drive, Chester Springs, PA 19425, where friends may call from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.
An evening visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 11, at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown.
Interment will be private.
