Richard Francis Cullinan

Richard F. Cullinan of Phoenixville Richard Francis Cullinan, 78, passed away peacefully Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Mary Lou Cullinan, with whom he shared 56 years of marriage. Born in Caledonia, N.Y., he was the son of the late Francis and Margaret (Ball) Cullinan. Dick graduated from Caledonia High School in 1953 and attended St. John Fisher College prior to completing his service in the United States Army. Dick served honorably in the United States Army from 1954 to 1956. Dick was employed as national sales manager of Monsey Products of Kimberton, from 1973 until his retirement in 1996. From 1957 until 1973 Dick was employed at Agway of Caledonia and Geneva, New York. Dick enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life, including woodworking and video photography. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. Surviving in addition to his wife; are daughters, Meg (Cullinan), wife of Read Dahl of Royersford, Maura (Cullinan), wife of Paul Wenger of Phoenixville and Beth Cullinan of Phoenixville; sons, Terry Cullinan of Chester Springs and Patrick, husband of Donna Cullinan of West Chester; six grandchildren, Sean Cullinan, Meghan Cullinan, Sarah Cullinan, Scott Cullinan, Colin Dahl and Liam Wenger; and sister, Mary Cullinan of Caledonia, N.Y. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Cullinan and sister, Helen (Cullinan) Anderson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 22, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 3640 Schuylkill Road, Spring City. Burial will be private.
