He was the beloved husband of the late Gertrude Heller Vaughn, who died in 2004.
Bob was born in Philadelphia, on Oct. 1, 1923, to the late Robert A. and Mabel Lentz Vaughn Sr.
Bob graduated from Frankford High School and attended Drexel University.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy Submarine Service during World War II.
Bob worked as an assistant plant engineer for Acme Markets for 38 years.
He was a member of the Malvern United Methodist Church, Malvern Fire Company, VFW Post 5203 and Independent Order of Odd Fellows, where he was Past Grand Master in 1994-1995.
He is survived by his sons, Gerald Vaughn (Bonnie) of Malvern and Robert A. Vaughn III (Kathy) of Hilton Head, S.C.; brother, George Vaughn (Isabelle) of Cape May, N.J.; grandchildren, Neil, Josh, Kyle and Jenn; and great-grandchildren, Genevieve and Sophia.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Bob's life celebration service at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, at Mauger-Givnish Funeral Home, 24 Monument Ave., Malvern, where friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Malvern Fire Company, P.O. Box 435, Malvern, PA 19355.
