Stanley E. Luongo Sr.

Stanley E. Luongo, Sr. of West Chester Stanley E. Sr., age 88 of West Chester, died peacefully at home on June 8, 2013 with his family at his side. He was the Beloved father of Lauren Edgar (Dennis), Donna Savastio (Edward), Rosemarie (Dr. Daniel Daley, Jr.), Stanley Jr. (Danielle), and Ronald (Sharon) and the Loving grandfather of Dennis McDonnell, Jr., Vincent, Justina, Angelina, Matthew, Andrew, Alexa and Ashley Luongo, and the late Robyn and Kimberly Kuperstein. He was the Devoted brother of Dorothy Luongo, and the late Gloria Nardella, Son of the late Rocco and Aida (Tirimacco) Luongo and stepson of the late Leon Lipinski. He is also survived by his wife Sandra Giangiulio. Born in Philadelphia, Stan was a member of the greatest generation, as he served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific during World War II with the 113th SEABEES Battalion. After the war he graduated from St. Joseph's University in 1950. As a lifelong entrepreneur, Stan went on to establish a successful accounting and tax consulting firm with his late partner Robert DiSerafino, Sr. in Paoli where he served his clients for over 50 years until his death. He was also one of the original founders of Paoli Village Shoppes, now considered the "Heart of Paoli". Family and friends may call at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 15 E. Pleasant Grove Road, West Chester, PA 19382 on Friday June 14, 2013 at 8:30 a.m. followed by a Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
